John 4.23-24 – 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him

When we gathering together, we worship.   Worship is the expression of our Love towards God.  So, we worship Him with music and song and creativity; with Scripture and prayer; with service and ministry.

The goal of our time of worship is to experience the presence of our amazing Father God and to respond to Him with our whole being, echoing this declaration:

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

— Psalms 100:1-4

Worship is to be  a lifestyle where everything we do is an offering to our great and glorious God!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The musicians at the Neighborhood are members that offer their time and talents to bring music to our Sunday services. The band is any imaginable combination of vocals,  drums, percussion, strings and keys. We can be loud at times—our worship is contemporary, yet at times we can minister a traditional hymn.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

We don’t like to put a lot of rules on our times worshiping in God’s presence—whether you’re joining us on a Sunday morning, or some other gathering, you are encouraged to sing, shout, move, dance, clap, raise your hands, quietly reflect—releasing whatever it is that the Spirit has placed inside you.
