Our Story

Matthew 16.18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The history of Neighborhood begin in 1946 under the leadership of Rev. J.S. Blake.

Although our title says Baptist – we are a Spirit-filled, Non-denominational Charismatic Church. We daily approach the adventure of a Christian lifestyle with love, courage, passion and integrity.

Passionate worship and a desire to see the supernatural manifest presence of God in our lives and in our services is a core value of our church.

In response to God’s extravagant love towards us, we embrace the Great Commandment to love, and the Great Commission to make disciples.

Our history is rich and vibrant in the city of San Francisco.  Know for our dynamic, engaging and personal teaching style, we’ve reached and touched many.
